Squad and Engine run on trailer fire in Station 40’s first due

Tonight, the Squad and Engine responded as the Engine Company to assist the Bowers Fire Company on a trailer fire in the High Point MHP. Second Assist Chief Eric Neeld arrived, assumed command, reported light smoke showing, and ordered the first due engine to stretch a line. Squad 55 arrived, assumed the first due engine assignment, stretched their 100' bumper line, and found a smoldering bathroom fan. Engine 55 arrived as the second due engine and assisted Squad 55 with overhaul and checking for extension. Units were placed in service a short time later. There were no reported injuries.
