Motorcycle MVC - 840 Locust Grove Road

At 1356 hours, Kent Center dispatched Station 55 (Magnolia), KM7, KM5 (Kent County Paramedics) and Trooper 2 (DSP) for a report of a Motorcycle MVC in the area of 840 Locust Grove Road. A55 responded at 1359 hours, with Career FF/EMTs Watts and Queen, followed by Engine 55-4 at 1401 hours with a crew of 5, Past Chief Semans. Rescue 55-1 followed shortly after with a crew of 5, FF K.Vautard. A55 and Engine 55-4 arrived to find a motorcycle into a corn field, with a single patient, Past Chief Semans establishing 55 Command. Rescue 55-1 arrived and assisted the crews from A55 and Engine 4 with patient packaging. KM7 arrived on scene and determined the helicopter would not be utilized. Command 55 canceled Trooper 2, placing the situation under control at 1415 hours. A55 and KM7 transported one patient to KGH. All 55 fire units cleared and were in quarters at 1424 hours.
