Clyde J. Luton Jr

Past Chief Clyde Luton has been a member of the Magnolia Volunteer Fire Company since 1956. Past Chief Luton has held a number of positions in the company including Treasurer, Rescue Captain, First, Second, and Third Assistant Chiefs as well as Fire Chief for four years. Past Chief Luton has served as President of the Kent County Fire Chief’s Association and was elected President Emeritus of the Kent County Fireman’s Association in 1974. Past Chief Luton served as Member of the State Fire Prevention Commission for over 12 years and was recognized as one of the premier EMS Instructors at the Delaware State Fire School. He also served on the SERC Commission and was a member of the Kent County LEPC, while being employed at the Playtex Corporation. VETERAN’S STATUS: Served as a Sergeant in the United States Air Force.
